Wow, can you say success! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thelma Ramey of Plan Ahead Events Tampa Bay Florida and Carol DeCanio of Beef O'Brady's Corporate offices in Tampa, FL, for hosting the second annual IFA, Tampa Bay Women Franchise Network, Dress for Success event. For the second year in a row this event was held at the corporate offices of Beef O'Brady's.
We had a great turnout and lots of great clothes, shoes, accessories and more donated. Not to mention, great food, conversation and spirits. The evening was a blast!
Our guest speaker from Dress for Success (DfS) shared with us the value of empowering women and how the organization allows women to come together, learn from each other, build on their skill sets and all around confidence. The volunteers work with the ladies outfitting them in business attire, preparing them for interviews and partnering with them throughout the process. All Dress for Success asks from the candidate is a commitment to the program. Who wouldn’t want to be committed to growing personally and professionally?
The International Franchise Association (IFA) and the Women Franchise Committee (WFC) believe strongly in giving back to the local community and the Women Franchise Committee chose to work with Dress for Success. Dress for Success is a volunteer-driven organization which depends on the support of the community to deliver programs and services to empower women. For the second year our Women Franchise Networks across the US and Canada banded together and held local events to support this great organization.
